Cancellation by You
Life happens, and we’re here to work with you. Here’s how refunds work if you cancel:
More than 30 Days Before Tour Start: Cancel your tour (like that July 2025 Sicilian fishing trip) at least 30 days before it starts, and you’ll get a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee to cover admin costs. Gotta keep the lights on in Wilkes-Barre!
15–30 Days Before Tour Start: Cancel within this window, and we’ll refund 50% of your payment. Some of our local guides and partners (like that Tuscan vineyard) have non-refunded costs, so this helps cover those.
Less than 15 Days Before Tour Start: Sorry, no refunds for cancellations this close to the date, as we’ve already locked in guides, accommodations, and more. But we’ll do our best to reschedule or offer credit for a future tour—let’s chat!
No-Show or Early Departure: If you miss the tour or leave early, we can’t offer refunds, but reach out, and we’ll see what we can do to make things right.
Cancellation by Us
Sometimes, things out of our control (like weather or a guide’s sudden illness) force us to cancel a tour. If this happens:
You’ll get a full refund for the tour cost, no questions asked.
Or, we’ll offer to reschedule your tour (maybe swap that Amalfi sail for another date) or provide credit for a future trip.
Note: We’re not responsible for extra costs like flights or hotels you booked separately, but we’ll help you navigate options with our partners.
Changes to Your Booking
Wanna tweak your tour? Maybe switch from Umbria to Puglia? Here’s the deal:
More than 30 Days Before Tour: Changes are usually free, subject to availability. Just let us know what you’re thinking!
Less than 30 Days Before Tour: Changes depend on our guides’ and partners’ availability. We’ll try our best, but there might be a $25 change fee to cover extra coordination.
If the new tour costs more, you’ll pay the difference. If it’s less, we’ll refund the difference, minus the $25 fee.
Issues During Your Tour
If something’s not right during your tour (like the guide didn’t show or the experience wasn’t as promised), let us know ASAP. We’ll work with you and our local partners to fix it, whether that’s a partial refund, a rescheduled activity, or another solution. Contact us during the tour at +1 570-821-0468 so we can jump on it quick.
How to Request a Refund
To cancel or request a refund:

We’ll process refunds within 10 business days, back to your original payment method.
For bookings made through third-party platforms, check their refund policies, as they might apply instead.
Non-Refundable Items
Some things, like travel insurance, special permits (e.g., for certain ruins), or add-ons, are non-refunded once purchased. We’ll make this clear when you book.
